"Other" Responses

Given your knowledge of the current CPG competitive environment, what is your assessment of the role that Consumer Promotion should play in your company's or client's overall marketing mix over the next five years?
Other: If you are talking customer specific shopper promotion...which I would define differently than Consumer Promotion...then Extremely Important.
Other: promotion lives outside CPG - its not the ONLY place you find promotions!

Other: Ext Important but we are increasingly seeing it as Retail marketing vs Consumer promotion if it is executed at retail. I rarely see consumers at retail, but lots of shoppers.
