ROBIN BLUNT, Vice President, Global Marketing Programs for MasterCard International, leads the payment brand's national consumer promotions group. In his role, Blunt creates consumer usage-based promotions, Member bank co-branded promotions and merchant tie-ins. Responsible for building brand preference and cardholder usage, Blunt brings more than 15 years of brand building, e-commerce development, international market development and partner, trade and consumer marketing programs to his position.

While at MasterCard, Blunt has leveraged the company's "Priceless" brand positioning to anchor national usage promotions around key spend periods including Summer, Back to School, Holiday and Travel.

Prior to joining MasterCard in 1996, Blunt served as Vice President of Marketing at First Data Corp., where he was responsible for Responsible for marketing business to business line of payment processing services including the point of sale equipment, authorization and settlement of credit and debit cards, check and imaging technology. Blunt has also served in numerous marketing positions at companies such as Carlson Travel Network and American Express Travel Related Services.
