Dr. Robert Lawrence is the Edyth H. Schoenrich Professor of Preventive Medicine and Associate Dean for Professional Education and Programs at the John Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, Professor of Medicine at the John Hopkins School of Medicine, and founding director of the Center for a Livable Future at Johns Hopkins University. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Medical School. In 2002, he received the Albert Schweitzer Humanitarian Prize from the Humboldt Foundation.
